# SQL-001 to SQL-014: Sequence acquisition statements

All 14 statements in this group are `IBusinessCriteria.CreateSQL` implementations of the form `SELECT <seq>.NEXTVAL FROM DUAL`, executed as a scalar query by the BOF data portal immediately before the matching INSERT. A further 23 sequence names are obtained through the BOF helper `GetNextSeqNum("<name>")` rather than through explicit `CreateSQL` text; because the helper issues the equivalent statement inside the framework, its literal text is not present in this repository and is not assigned a SQL ID.*
